Create a kernel that uses a custom ipython profile¶

This will let us have notebooks with shared %store, startup, etc not shared by other notebooks (useful for keeping projects separate).

First create the custom profile

Create custom startup scripts¶

Do you find yourself running the same python code at the top of every cell? You can add startup scripts to your ipython profiles.

Autorestore variables¶

The file .ipython/profile_name/ipython_config.py has a number of options you can change. To automatically restore variables without needing to call %store -r, set cStoreMagics.autorestore = True
